Territory 
The municipalities of the Daunia Rurale LAG are located in the Alto Tavoliere: to the north they border Molise, to the east with the Gargano, to the west with the Monti Dauni and to the south with the Tavoliere, occupying an area of 1,067. 75 square kilometers. 

The agro-food and rural economy is mainly characterized by the production of wine and quality oil. 

Objectives 

• Building local marketing circuits of typical local production; 
• planning integrated gastronomic and rural tourism itineraries able to give life to a systemic; socially innovative and competitive Food District.;
• promoting the cultural, rural, material and immaterial heritage through a systemic network of attractors and services;
• creating of a widespread Ecomuseum of the Alto Tavoliere.
