The Partnership Agreement is the national programming instrument for the European structural and investment funds (including the EAFRD for Rural Development) allocated to Italy for the 2014-2022 programming period. 

The agreement, provided for by Regulation (EU) No. 1303/2013, defines the strategy and priorities of the Member State as well as the modalities of effective and efficient use of European investment funds, in order to pursue the Union's strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. Approved by the Commission following evaluation and dialogue with the Member State concerned
