The Rural Development Programme of the Puglia Region 2014-2022, like all programmes co-financed by the European Union, is subject to a mandatory evaluation activity, whose goals and general characteristics are defined by Community regulations and referred to in the evaluation plan contained within the RDP.

The evaluation expresses an opinion on the interventions, provides objective feedback compared to the results, impacts and needs to be met.

Evaluation documents provide also a framework for analyzing the use of resources and verifying the effectiveness and efficiency of the Puglia Region’s RDP. These documents drawing up appreciable budget of results of the development and sustainability policies implemented, and allow the Managing Authority to assess changes to the strategy.
