The monitoring system, thanks to its functionalities of reporting individual and aggregated data, allows a constant update of the procedural, physical and financial progress of the Program, providing external users with important information in terms of effectiveness and efficiency of the interventions carried out.

Thanks to the elaboration of analyses on the monitoring data, it is possible to verify the progress in the implementation of the financed actions with respect to the targets foreseen in the definition of the strategy of the RDP, also in order to orient the programmatic choices to respond more effectively to the specific needs of rural development.

Investment support, guaranteed by the measures of the 2014-2022 RDP, is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the business system, supporting the growth of the sector, improving the living conditions of rural local communities, safeguarding the environment of the territories, encouraging their balanced and sustainable development.

The programme consists of 14 measures to achieve 6 main objectives (Priorities), 18 more specific objectives (Focus Area) and 3 transversal objectives.

The 2014-2020 Rural Development Programme encourages the enhancement of forest areas, the conversion of agricultural land to organic farming and the respect, by the beneficiaries of the measures, of commitments for the improvement of the agri-climatic-environmental conditions of the territory.
