The LAG area includes 6 municipalities in the province of Bari, with a total population of 142,282 inhabitants.
Objectives
- Investing in the competitiveness of the agricultural and non-agricultural fabric, with actions to improve the level of productivity, profitability and innovation;
- promoting the excellent food and wine: bread from Altamura, Terra di Bari oil, Canestrato Pugliese, Lentils from Altamura, Gravina and Gioia del Colle wines, Filippo Cea almond, Slow Food presidia and sweet table olives Termite di Bitetto;
- enhancing tourist attractiveness and enjoyment through the integration of the strengths of the different local areas.
