Territory
The Gal Terra d'Arneo extends from the Ionian coast to the hinterland of the Salento peninsula. The coastal municipalities - Porto Cesareo, Nardò, Galatone, Gallipoli - are beneficiaries of the Feamp Fund, European Fund for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
Objectives
- Relaunching the economy of the territory through rural tourism;
- reducing territorial imbalances between inland and coastal areas;
- acting on youth and female unemployment;
- enhancing the value of the typical products of the territory;
- reorganising the provision of services;
- protecting the heritage of the territory.
