Territory
The area covered by the Porta a Levante Gal falls within a vast area comprising 42 municipalities. Between two seas, the Adriatic and the Ionian, the territory of the LAG contains coastal and agricultural landscapes in close connection in which the unifying element is the “rural dimension";.
Objectives
- Improving and strengthening the enogastronomic tourist offer of the area;
- creating a territorial network oriented to sustainability and to the safeguard of naturalistic, landscape and local productive resources;
- encouraging new forms of experiential tourism;
- improving the accessibility and the tourist fruition of the territory;
- promoting the growth of social capital;
- expanding and diversify the tourist offer.
