Territory 
The territory concerned covers an area of 800 square kilometers (550 square kilometers included in the EMFF Area - European Fund for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries) including 197 thousand inhabitants. The entire area has water as its common denominator, so much so that it has adopted the definition of “Lands of Water" a concept declined in the various economic sectors and production. 

Objectives 

• Implementing integrated development to improve the quality of life of the local population; 
• launching transversal and complex policies and interventions to promote the tourist offer, social innovation and quality of services; 
• safeguarding and enhancing natural, historical and cultural heritage; 
• promoting the development of competitiveness, especially in the field of sustainable tourism and innovation in production chains, with particular reference to agriculture and fisheries.
