Submeasure 11.1 supports the commitment to convert agricultural land conducted in conventional farming to organic farming. The commitment is 2 or 3 years depending on the crop in place, 2 years for areas under annual crops and 3 years for areas under tree crops.

Subsequently, the beneficiary must enter the maintenance phase (submeasure 11.2) for a period of time equal to the remaining period necessary to complete the five-year period.

The notice provides for an initial budget of 30 million euros for the five years, subsequently increased to 42 million euros.
